Prince Swanny is a dancehall artiste, singer and songwriter from Port-au-Spain Trindad. From an early age Swanny began free-styling for his friends and family which always attracted an audience he then went unto enter two to three came in first and second from there he realized he could switch it up and venture off into the reality of what’s going on in life. He started making music in 2013 and got his breakthrough in 2017 with “Guh Fi Dem” through to 2018 with the songs “Watch Your Friends” & “Unknown Car”.
He garnered support from the reggae-dancehall and hip-hop communities, among them, Popcaan, Drake, Burna Boy, Bobby Shmurda and Yo Gotti, each of whom have endorsed Prince Swanny’s music by sharing it on social media.
Album Highlight: “Swanology” was released on October 14 via ZTEKK Records and Roc Nation’s new indie distribution company, Equity Distribution (EQ). The album is about staying true to his TriniBad sound, a melodic fusion of trap and dancehall distinct to T&T — while mixing in influences from the US, UK and beyond.
